With the rapid development of China consumer electronics industry, consumer electronics manufacturing industry has a rare development opportunity and a huge space for development. This development has brought opportunities for many electronic materials suppliers including M Company, meanwhile these enterprises are facing severe challenges. The enterprises want to remain invincible in the increasingly fierce market competition, they must continue to carry out technical innovations. But at present, technical innovation in China electronics division of M company, only is in the stage of technology innovation activities of producing a series of new products to meet the needs of individual customers, to achieve short‐term sales increased. It is just a innovation completer, but did not consider the technology innovation strategy systematically. Technical innovation activity is important, but for the enterprise, to change the competitive position essentially and establish the competitive advantage in a new, more favorable point is more important. To do this, M company must have a long‐term competitive advantage of the technology innovation strategy.In this paper, there are six parts to analyze the situation and select the technology innovation strategy for China Electronics division of M companyThe first part describes the importance and significance of developing innovation strategies of China Electronics Division of M Company.The second part introduces M company and its innovation history, as well aspoint outthe existing innovationproblems.The third part analyzes the present situation of Chinese consumer electronicsindustry and forecasts the future development, and analyzes the customer and industrycompetition situation.The fourth part analyzes the internal and external environmentand summarizesthe opportunities, threats,advantage and disadvantage of technology innovationwhichM company’s faces. The fifth part is based on the SWOT theory, through quantitative analysis ofinternal data to select the model of the company technology innovation strategy,meanwhile, the corresponding strategy target and content are set.The sixth part is the implementation of the technology innovation strategy. Therelated reform measures including the adjustment of the management system,organization structure and human resources.
