Nowadays, information technology is no longer simply provide IT support to business development, but both of them integrated deeply. While information technology support business development, it also promote the business change. With enterprise business more and more rely on information technology to promote the level and efficiency of management, business is getting more complex than before, information system is getting more complex than before.The paper through the study of development situation of enterprise architecture at home and abroad, we knew that enterprise architecture framework is the best way to deal with the challenges that these complex business and information system brought, TOGAF is an enterprise architecture method to be applied in the most international big companies, so the paper adopt TOGAF to research to integrate IT and business in CHEMCHINA. Firstly, the paper introduce the concept and development history of enterprise, introduce the ZACHMAN and TOGAF briefly. Secondly, through analyzed the external and internal environment CHEMCHINA are facing, investigated and analyzed enterprise architecture situation of CHEMCHINA, found information isolate islands still exist in the enterprise, lacked common language between enterprise IT and business, information didn’t share between systems. Thirdly, to solve the problem that enterprise are facing, CHEMCHINA optimized enterprise architecture design by using enterprise architecture framework method, many aspects involved CHEMCHINA business and IT can be improved were found by optimized design. CHEMCHINA selected some high priority and enforceable enterprise architecture project by evaluation of priority level. Meanwhile CHEMCHINA developed project implementation planning on the basis of evaluation of enforceable project priority. CHEMCHINA managed the projects by using architecture governance method in the course of implementation project that enable IT and business integrated well and aligned with between business, IT and business and systems While CHEMCHINA were carrying out management transformation and informatization project. Fourthly, to ensure smooth implementation of architecture project related work, all projects gained the support of leadership, perfect organization and effective measures, all of these for the enterprise architecture works carried out successfully laid a solid foundation. Finally, CHEMCHINA implemented these projects by using enterprise architecture method, through implementing these project reduce information isolated islands in enterprise, built the common language between IT and business, and solved the problem about integrating IT system and business in the course of enterprise informatization construction.
