Today the enterprise competition has evolved into the competition of supply chain, only the suppliers without the enterprise exist in the future market, hence, the potential supplier development is the most important step in the supply chain management. Large-Piece OKP (one-of-a-kind prodution) Enterprises occupy a very important position in manufacturing industry in China. The supplier development always is a difficult problem to be solved in the enterprise due to the complex product structure, large enterprise scale, high technological concentration, long production cycle, part variety, many quantities of supplier needs, as well as the shorter time of delivery. With the Siemens VAI the metallurgy industry of the typical Large-Piece OKP supplier development system as the research object, in this thesis, the improvement methods and the corresponding suggestions are proposed with regards to the problems exposed to the process of supplier development in the enterprise.The main work presented in this thesis includes the following four aspects:1. The theory and method of supplier development that relates to the strategic principle, supplier classification, supplier selection criteria, and supplier development steps is studied. On this basis, the status quo of supplier development in Siemens VAI is inspected, then the main problems is analyzed and summarized from the three aspects of the process of supplier development, supplier evaluation standard and supplier classification management.2. Aimed at the exposure problems in the supplier development process, firstly the additional demand confirmation advice is put forward through the analysis of demand rationality and demand confirmation of supplier development; then the method of comparative analysis is employed to confirm the strategic material and strategic suppliers, an evaluation index system for strategic supplier is additionally established; finally, the strategy that different vendors use different development process is achieved by the establishment of supplier classifier.3. According to the problems in the process of supplier evaluation, the improvement measures that comprise the formulation of the site audit plan, the responsibility system for evaluation personnel, the financial risk assessment in detail, the sufficient assessment time and the process compliance intervention evaluation are proposed. 4Around the determination of management problems in supplier development, the regulation method of corrective plan of supplier development is given; moreover the two-dimension matrix of supplier machining capability is provided, on which a more precise conclusions of supplier development is obtained, and the corresponding supervision measures are advised to ensure the execution of supplier development results. |
