With the development of cities along the Yellow River in Ningxia, is thoroughly implement the party’s17session of the Third and Fourth Plenary Session of the spirit, adhere to the guidance of scientific concept of development through the implementation of the strategic central city driving and accelerating the integration process of urban and rural areas of Ningxia, Ningxia achieved economic and social leap-forward development of the important step. A sound transportation system is to realize "Tong Cheng" of an important guarantee. Cities along the Yellow River with a select speed, large capacity, small footprint, pollution-free inter-city (urban) rail transit as the backbone of the framework is conducive to the development of Latin America cities, promoting the formation of regional urban zone, thereby bringing about a leap in cities with bounds.At present, the city along the Yellow River region with a road traffic although there has been a good foundation, but the imperfections of an integrated transportation system still can not meet the city along the Yellow River with a leap-forward development.In this paper, through domestic and international rail transport development status, experience and careful analysis of urban belt along the Yellow River in Ningxia economy, transportation development status of construction, the development of rail transportation vision and plan out the inter-city urban belt along the Yellow River, the center city of Yinchuan Rail Transit line network layout program, the investment estimates, construction timing, etc. for future urban belt along the Yellow River in Ningxia and provide theoretical support for rail transit construction, the building of content on specific operational programs.
