Research On Materials Procurement Risk Management In Changqing Oilfield’s

The procurement business is the fundamental business of an enterprise. Not only is it thestarting point of the process of the production and operation, but also it is the part where therisk would be appear most likely. With the development of marketing economy and theincreasingly marketing competition, the development of the company of ChangQing oilfieldis facing more and more challenges. It is very important for an enterprise to improve itsoperation management，because it is the fundamental prerequisite for the enterprise toobtaining a long-term development. Because the management of materials procurement is thebasic of the production and operation, if the company of ChangQing oilfield want to pursuetheir own development，they should focus on the risk management issues in procurementoperations.Although the company of ChangQing oilfield has a unique set of procurement processes,the procurement risk is difficult to be avoided when facing the increasingly complexmarketing environment. So, it is necessary for us to carry out a systematic study of its riskmanagement of procurement operations. Based on the observation of procurement operationsof the company of ChangQing oilfield and researches on something related, I have combinedthe theory of procurement management and risk management and the special circumstance ofprocurement operation of the company of ChangQing oilfield, and I have established theprocurement risk assessment model based on AHP in order to evaluate the key risks of theprocurement process of the company of ChangQing oilfield, and then raise somecountermeasures about risk response and risk monitoring. When I evaluate the key risks of theprocurement process of the company of ChangQing oilfield, I have used the method of AHP.This method could make the concept of risks of the management team of the company ofChangQing oilfield from subjective to objective. It can helps the management team of thecompany of ChangQing oilfield to identify the key risks of procurement operations. It canhelps the management team have more accurate knowledge on risk in order to betterunderstand and avoid risks. And the more important thing is that it can helps the company ofChangQing oilfield to improve the management level and competitiveness.Through the research and discussion in this paper, I have provided new ideas and methods in order to improve the management level of risk of the company of ChangQingoilfield’s procurement business. By using the model established for sort identified risks, Ihave provided a scientific evaluation method and quantitative index for judge of theprocurement risk of the company of ChangQing oilfield, it will further strengthen andimprove its procurement risk management level. Meanwhile, the paper has a certainsignificance, it provides a reference idea for the management of procurement risk of the otheroilfield company.
