Empirical Research Of Suitability Evaluation In Land Reclamation

Since1988, our country supports the land reclamation actively. It`s a strongoversight that the government promulgated and issued the related documents of theland reclamation, and it`s also provided predominant basis. However, with acceleratethe pace of urbanization development, destruction of land resources causing a certaindegree of waste, causing China’s social and economic development and improvement ofthe ecological environment was severely hampered. So as to make the damaged landrestored to status available as quickly as possible, the task of land reclamation isimperative; for the purpose of dealing with land reclamation well, we need to start fromland suitability evaluation in the first place, as the land suitability evaluation is thefoundation and prerequisite of processing the land reclamation planning well.This paper is based on theory of ecological restoration and reconstruction, theoryof sustainable development, and principle of the land suitability evaluation. This papermake a thorough analysis to the extent of land damage, type of land damage and landsuitability evaluation, on this basis, using extensive comprehensive evaluationconjugate element model, selecting evaluation factor of terrain slope, effective soildepth, irrigation water, soil organic matter, road conditions and flatness to makeempirical analysis, ultimately determine the most appropriate direction from arable,suitable garden, suitable woodland and suitable grass.
