So the unique advantages of each coastal cities have not been given a full play.Our country has over18000kilometers coastline, is one of the countries who have long coastline. For the unbalanced development of economic, political, and cultural in history, most coastal cities in China are developing faster than the inland cities. At present, China’s major industrial base distributions locate in the coastal cities. Open coastal city are developing as the most dynamic economy in China. They are not only in the front of the whole country in the structure adjustment, urban and rural and transformation of the mode of economic development, but also promote the national economy and faster and better development. Therefore, how to make the coastal central cities in the national economy development the important role fully play out, need us to analysis the present situation correctly, and formulate correct development direction. And not only for the development and construction of coastal cities is very important, but also for speeding up China’s modern construction business has important meaning.Based on this background, the problems of the coastal economic belt, we analyze the current economic developing situation of the Dalian coastal area (Pikou town).
