Study On Operational Modes And Influential Factors Of Social Enterprise

During the reformation of the traditional third sector and social welfare system, social enterprise grew up gradually and developed rapidly over the past ten years. Recently,with the transformation of China’s government social management functions and the fast development of philanthropies, social enterprise as a new enterprise’s mode in China has gradually developed, and has been to play an active role in many fields such as poverty、employment、pension and other social problems, and its widening social influences has also caused extensive concerns among many experts、 scholars、government officials、entrepreneurs and the public sector. In the current policy background of our country government proposing "to strengthen the social management innovation", the discussion about social enterprise is conducive to think deeply about how to process the subject of social management innovation.Although spreading quickly, now the social enterprise research of our country is still in the initial stage of the related knowledge system and studies on operational mode is not systematic and localizable, and the study is still lack of deep discussion about the effective organizational mode in the new fleld.Therefore this paper tries to answer these questions:what is the social enterprise?what operational modes currently can be identified in China?What factors affect the selection of operational modes of NGOs? This paper aims to sort out recent social enterprise modes in China analyse its features and enrich the understanding and knowledge on social enterprisie. This paper takes Nanjing for example,and collects related data by case and document research method,and discusses deeply to the operational modes and influential factors about our country’s social enterprise by the arrangement and analysis to the data.First this paper reviews the development of social enterprise and related research, including the social enterprise’s background, the definition of the concept and characteristics of social enterprises, and the summary of social enterprise classification.Then this study reviews researches on social enterprise operational modes and the related influential factors, including specific to the definition of society enterprise operational modes and the comparison with business mode, its structure of the influential factors, and the related content researches of our country.In the third sector, the detailed background the Nanjing’s social enterprise discussed, and Nanjing’s social enterprises operational modes and its influential factors and its influential factors are discussed in the following chapter.The last part of this study summaries the major findings and provides the suggestions for future studies.
