The enterprises core idea called "people-oriented" is more and more popular in our country; Companies begin to focus on the employees who have higher potential. But we can’t measure or explore the potential of employees objectively. However, with the development of the enterprise SNS, we can use the enterprise social network to measure the value of employees easily.In this context, we constructed an index system and a measurement model of employees’ potential. It is based on the data of enterprise social network. We can’t find out a way to measure the potential of employees from existing literatures. From the perspective of enterprise social network, we classified employees’ potential into two:one is coordinate potential and the other is intellectual potential. We estimated the potential by millions of blog content data that came from the internal blog platform of a Telecommunications Company. Then we verified the feasibility and reliability of the measurement model. The result shows that the the negative correlation between the employees’ turnover and the employees’ coordinate potential. We also found that the positive correlation between the intellectual potential and the employees’ performance.By using our model, managers can find out those employees have higher potential through the enterprise SNS, it provides a reference value to the human resource department.
