The research on the organizational culture has been the hotspot in management research. The core problem in the field of organizational culture research is that which kind of organizational culture can improve the effectiveness of the organization and promote enterprise’s production and operation performance. At present, domestic scholars have obtained the rich research achievement for the study of organizational culture. But the empirical research is still very rare in the relationship between organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. Strengthening the research in this field has the extremely positive significance for deepening the construction of organizational culture and making the organizational culture contribute to the enterprises’ development of the production and operation.Therefore, this research aims at studying the relationship between organizational culture characteristics and organizational effectiveness through empirical survey methods, while our studying targets are Chinese enterprises. This research gives the corresponding framework of research and assumptions by reviewing literature and combining with the practical situation. By analysis the data of513effectual samples, the influence of the excellent organizational culture characteristics on organizational effectiveness is discussed.Research shows that, the excellent organizational culture characteristics, namely Sustainable Development, Social Responsibility, Excellence Pursuit, Talent Attention, Customer Orientation, Cultural Identity, Unity of Knowledge and Action, Integration and Coordination, Full Empowerment, Team Cooperation, Organizational Learning, Innovation and Strategy Consensus, will have a significant positive impact on organizational effectiveness. Furthermore, Strategy Consensus, Excellence Pursuit, Sustainable Development, Innovation have the most significant impact on organizational effectiveness. In addition, the research also reveals a lot of problems on Chinese organizational culture construction. For example, cultural construction becomes a mere formality. Cultural characteristics lack personality, and culture operation lacks guarantee mechanism.Based on the above findings, this research provides five management suggestions for China organizational culture construction, to promote the construction of organizational culture and organizational effectiveness.
