| Fujian and Taiwan, one across the water, occupies a unique advantage and a special status in the cross-strait economic, trade and cultural exchanges and personnel exchanges. Fujian and Taiwan develops the tourism cooperation based on "the close links in five areas between Fujian and Taiwan" traditional strengths and the "integration" of regional economic development trend, which is the important elements in cross-strait tourism development, but also the inevitable choice. In 2008, with the initial realization for the "Three Direct Links", cooperation in tourism between Fujian and Taiwan has entered a new period of comprehensive two-way interaction. By means of economic analysis for cooperation in tourism between Fujian and Taiwan, in close combination with the current positive situation for the development of "Three Direct Links" and the favorable opportunity for building up the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone which is becoming the national strategy, on the basis of grasping the opportunities and challenges facing in the tourism cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, reviewed the development process of tourism cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, analyzed the status and forms for the cooperation and the major problems, focused on the perspective of the strategy for achieving cooperation in tourism between Fujian and Taiwan, built the content-rich strategy system, developed a multi-strategy system model, established a coordinated strategy mechanism, formulated a targeted strategic thinking, and provided the relevant countermeasures for break the system of barriers and technical barriers in the tourism cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan.This paper through the development and implementation for scientific and effective strategy to deepen the cooperation in tourism between Fujian and Taiwan, realized the depth of docking between Fujian and Taiwan tourism industry, and actively explored the Fujian and Taiwan into an internationally renowned tourist destination and an important characteristic of China's natural and cultural tourist center. |
