Research On International Logistics Management Of SMTCL

With the continuous progress of global economic integration, the internationaltrade activities of Chinese enterprises have become increasingly active and theinternational logistics management also rises and gradually grows. As part of theinternational trade activities, the international logistics constraints and affects thedevelopment of international trade. On the one hand, the international trade promotesthe emergence and development of the international logistics, on the other hand, thehighly efficient international logistics system is an important guarantee for thesustainable development of the international trade. They arecomplementary and mutually reinforcing. The further development of the internationaltrade needs the support of international logistics. In case the development ofinternational logistics cannot keep up the pace of international trade development, thefurther development of international trade will be greatly hindered. In this paper, basedon the international logistics management theory, the domestic machine toolmanufacturers SMTCL is studied by combining international logistics managementtheory in terms of international logistics economy management, international logisticsquality management and international logistics process management by way of variousmethods as literature review, field research, expert interviews and comparative analysis.In this way, the international logistics management of the company is studied and theexisting problems are identified. As fundamental solutions to SMTCL, problems ascargo failed to arrive at consignee on time, increasing cost of international logistics,long international logistics management cycle, customer dissatisfaction and limitcapacity of international freight are solved.
