Chinese tea consumption ranks first in the world. Since the80th of last century, tea trade developed rapidly. China tea consumption mainly comes from the traditional mode of consumption and materials for deep processing. Through investigation and model construction, this paper analyses the influencing factors of the domestic consumption and tea consumer’s behavior. Coming to the conclusion that the population and disposable income are the two main factors which influence the amount of tea consumption in China; also, gender, age, occupation, income, place, education and price of tea have significant effect on drinking behavior. This paper also analyzes and forecasts the demand of tea in short-term through establishing the model. Through the data validation, find the short term prediction is relatively accurate, but in long term prediction, there may be a great deviation. The conclusions can provide a reference to the government and enterprises to make tea development plans, and can help the tea economy develop healthily.
