| During the wartime, It is widely accepted that most of cutting-edge science and technology achievements, human resources are used to support for the creation of advanced military equipment, national defense facilities and even applied directly to the battlefield. This period of time is often described as the fastest stage of development of science and technology.However, in most of peaceful era, there is no doubt that the high-quality technology and human resource, financial resources will be allocated to the field of human life and health of higher priority. This field refers to the pharmaceutical and medical device. In this field, in addition to a large base of international trade, what attracts people from the medical industry and economics most is its international market compound growth rate of20%-25%.The author served on the medical device industry for more than6years. Based on professional orientation and working experience, the author find out the research of international trade of medical devices of vital practical significance. After consulting a large quantity of related documentation and literature, the author finds very little research in this area. To compensate for this problem, the author carried out an empirical study on the current situation of international trade of domestic medical instrument with charts and graphs. Secondly, the main problems existing in the industry are also put forward. Lastly, some constructive suggestions are proposed.To begin with, the author refers to Michael E. Porter’s point of view and explains the international competitiveness of medical devices in the following aspects: the factors of production, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, business strategy, government supports and opportunities. And each of the above-mentioned aspects is provided with a specific analysis of how to solve practical problems.Secondly, this paper puts forward the concept of certification barriers in international trade from several aspects. From the two most important aspects of market access and social responsibility, the author analyzes problems we face and to analyze its solutions.This paper concludes by putting forward some suggestions on how to face the general trend of internationalization of intellectual property rights, and analyzes its present situation and put forward several feasible solutions. It is expected that findings in this paper will be of certain referential value for similar studies on the issue of international trade of medical devices. |
