In recent years, the development of China is gradually getting rid of the mode of development of attracting foreign investment, and pay more attention to open up overseas markets through foreign direct investment.In many forms of foreign investment, transnational merger and acquisition is a more direct and effective way to occupy the international market.At present, transnational merger and acquisition has become Chinese enterprises choose to expand the international market business, and one of the main ways to supplement their own economic strength.But because of the transnational mergers and acquisitions, there are cultural differences between different countries.Therefore, the culture of post merger integration issues have gradually become one of the key factors for the success of cross-border mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises. The success of the cultural integration of transnational mergers and acquisitions helps enterprises form a unified values, code of conduct, and enhance the overall competitiveness of enterprises after merger and acquisition.This paper takes Sinopec successful acquisition of Addax as an example, systematically analyzes the strategy of cultural integration and cultural conflict in transnational mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises facing.This paper first describes the cultural conflict and integration theory, causes of cultural conflict in enterprise’s transnational merger and its types.Next, this paper analyzes the current development of Chinese transnational M & A, and analyzes several main cultural conflict that Chinese cross-border merger and acquisition of enterprises facing.Including the conflict, the conflict between their ideas, the conflict in habits of style, the conflict of personnel and salary.Then, the paper analyses the main factors in the influence of transnational merger and acquisition.It includes country cultural differences the main industry of national cultural differences and enterprises cultural differences.On this basis, the paper from the perspective of cultural conflict and integration analysis China Petrochemical Corp(Sinopec) successful acquiring of Swiss Addax company, analysis of cultural conflict, merger integration measures in the process of merger and acquisition and performance and purchase.Finally, in view of the success of Sinopec, put forward reasonable suggestions according to potential cultural conflicts to implement of cultural integration in overseas mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises.It includes cultural review and evaluation before the acquisition,strengthen cultural communication and cultural integration of cross cultural training measures.
