The main purpose of this research is to diagnose and optimize the R&D process of TS company, designed a new customer-centric innovation development process and improved its supporting management mechanisms. The thesis provides a reference for the innovation-driven enterprises.Firstly, the author found the reasons of high failure rate of product development are unclear external demand and poor communication of internal demand by analyzing the status of existing product development process and its management problems. Created a new product development process which the customer demand driven the whole product development process as a solution for the mentioned problems. Considering the features on different stages of the new process and focal points of process implementation, the thesis summed up the dimensionality of product demand from external customer and internal customer aspects, then determined the priority of each dimensionality of product demand according to the product strategy, and introduced the information channels for the internal and external customer demand. In order to match with the new process, the thesis also improved the demand management and organizational structure. Finally, put forward the evaluation index, and gave a preliminary evaluation and analysis of the value of the thesis.This thesis took related product development process of TS company as the research object, discussed the feasibility and importance for upgrading the enterprise’s product development mode by the customer demand-driven product development process.The value of this thesis for the innovation-driven enterprises are:1.The research on product development process of customer demand driven innovation has an important guiding significance for the enterprise’s product development process; 2.The application of research results can effectively strengthen the capability to grasp and track customer demands; 3.Improves the maneuverability for realizing customer demands.
