The Spillover Effects Of Regional Tourism

In the last few years, with the high speed growth of the economy and people’s living standard of our country, the tourism is developing rapidly all over the world, and to be the important part of the economy. As a result that, many scholars has begun to focus on it. As a large number of tourists from home and abroad every year, our country become the most important one of tourists in the world. That, the food, the accommodation, the transportation,the traveling and the shopping are the six elements of tourism, determines that the tourism can’t be isolated in the health development and need the support of relevant industries, such as food and beverage industry, hotel industry, insurance, telecommunications, transportation, entertainment, etc. That is to say, the health development of the tourism has strong correlation with other industries, which contributes the tourism to leading the development of other related industry, and also manifests the toursm spillover effect on regional economic growth. The spillover effects of the main theoretical basis is the new economic growth theory, which emphasizes in an open economic system, the regional economic growth is not only influenced by its internal factors, but more is affected by its surrounding areas.Since the 1950s, foreign scholars begin to pay close attention to the overflow of tourism research, first by the end of the 20th century Chinese scholars began to realize that the spillover effects of tourism industry, tourism to the overflow effect of regional and even national economic growth has been a hot research. At present, foreign spillover effects on tourism research achievements have been made by qualitative theoretical analysis to the mathematical model of quantitative analysis, and domestic existing research stay in more qualitative theoretical analysis, and quantitative analysis of the model is relatively small.In this article, with comprehensive analysis of relevant research results at home and abroad, I’ll explore the impact of tourism on economic growth factors that influence the spillover effect of spillover effects and the existing tourism at home and abroad of the model were analyzed, and establish a mathematical model suitable toChina’s tourism development characteristics, and at the same time, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region will be a case study to collect the relevant data, so as to quantitatively scientific analyze the impact of tourism on regional economic growth.In this paper, by consulting relevant literature resources, reviewing and sorting out the spillover effects on domestic and foreign research on tourism research, overflow theory in the new economic growth theory and regional context, and summarizing the research achievements of predecessors, I think that affect tourism spillover effect on economic growth of the key factors mainly include the type of tourism resources (products) difference, the difference of tourist resources (product) level, overflow overflow the receiver side of the scale of tourism, learning ability, spatial distance, overflow of time lag and so on.In terms of model is selected, the mathematical model for analyzing spillover effects tourism there are four main,which are the linear regression model, and standard mundell-fleming model Fidel spillover model and knowledge overflow.Through the comparative analysis of these four model, to choose their advantages and discrad disadvantages, and finally I take advantage of the knowledge spillover model which was established by Li Shan and Wang Zheng (2009), and its deficiency was improved, the introduction of new variables (overflow produce scale, overflow time lag), and modify the definition of the original variables (the level difference of tourism resources).On this basis, I take the SPSS and matlab data processing software to deal with the related indicators data, thus scientifically quantitative analysis of the tourism industry spillover effect on regional economic growth, and examine the key factor of tourism spillover effect is effective or not,and also test the model is reasonable or not, so as to correctly recognize the present situation and existing problems of the development of Guangxi tourism, and predict the future of tourism development, as well as the leading role of other related industries.
