Study On Operational Risk Management Of The Yellow River Rural Commercial Bank

With the pace of global economic integration is accelerating, the banking business scale and scope gradually expanded, the operational risk of commercial banks is becoming increasingly important. The operation risk situation facing the domestic banking industry is not optimistic. In order to adapt to the increasing size, how to effectively manage the operation risk, reduce losses become the most attention in the financial circle. Therefore, the Basel Regulatory Commission officially released in 2004 of the "new capital agreement" in the operational risk into the framework of management, on measurement and management of international banking operational risk is proposed to seek the new requirements. From our point of view, in recent years caused by operational risk of major cases happened frequently and caused serious economic losses to our country, not only affects the banking social image, also affected the normal social and economic order. Therefore, how to understand the operational risk and improve operational risk management level of our banks become urgent problems to be solved.This paper will be in accordance with the questions, analyze issues and solve problems, describes the general situation from the industry to the individual case study of the sequence, this paper elaborates on the operational risk management of the Yellow River Rural Commercial Bank. The former half part of this paper, combining with the related theory and the representative cases, a statement of the operational risk of commercial bank, including commercial banks operating risk meaning, main types, generated internal causes, characteristics and basic structure of the operational risk management of commercial banks and method. The focus of this paper will be placed in the latter part, namely, analysis on operational.risk management in the Yellow River Rural Commercial Bank, including the operational risk management framework, management of the existing problems in the internal control process, and the similarities and differences between the comparison and suggestion to perfect and optimize the operation risk management of the Yellow River Rural Commercial Bank.The topic of this article, the author hope that the problem and suggestion on optimization sorting out to in the actual management is management attention or be adopted, thereby improving the level of risk management of this bank, improving the internal control mechanism, reducing the risk of loss, promoting the steady development.
