Research On Regional Difference Of Housing Security Level

Housing is relative to livelihood, it have an important impact on the development of China’s economy and society. The hot real estate market plays an active role to expand domestic demand and support the economic growth. Marketization of housing stock brought such an excessive price for housing that the residents cannot afford the high prices, which seriously threatened the citizens survive. The housing security system is very important welfare system to ensure the citizens’ right to live. It is the government’s responsibility that cannot be ignored to let the Home Ownership. As China is a vast country, there are huge differences in the level of social development throughout the country. The central government is in charge of policy formulation, and the local governments are responsible for implement policy in housing security system. Therefore, the actual level of housing security are different in each area.What we need to study is what factors have influence on the level of housing security, whether the actual level of housing security is suitable for various regions and how to make the government in different regions more efficiency in housing security system. In this paper, to study the level of housing security regional differences, we first makes a literal review, and define the principle of the factors affecting the level of housing security system based on the theory of social security,housing security,and the gradient theory of consumption.And then we build the factors system. On the basis of index system we collect raw data, take descriptive analysis to the initial performance of the different provinces in the various indicators and then take the measure of factor analysis to relevant indicators.As a result we divide the 31 provinces and autonomous regions into three groups, and use cluster analysis to verify the classification results.We measure the level of actual housing security level in various regions of our country by comparing the relative level。Finally make reasonable suggestions on the way to housing security and the level of housing security in these three areas based on the combined experience of overseas development of housing security.
