In recent years, a number of approval authorities are canceled, especially the approval authority of non-conventional oil and gas fields, and private enterprises are allowed to participate in these fields, and these initiatives also inevitably made the related fields of opening to the outside world will be further increased. Oil and gas investment expansion of local enterprises in the national energy board also explicitly encourage oil and gas resource location. In the background of the reform of the oil and gas, China Petroleum Logging Co. Ltd. (CPLC) how to make use of the advantages and avoid the market risk factors in order to achieve sustainable development? How to deal with the opportunities and challenges of new energy?Aiming at these problems, this paper mainly launches the research from three aspects:(1) the first is the analysis of the competitive situation of CPLC:in the framework of the theory of market segmentation and market positioning theory, the current major logging the Professional Company management and the market situation in the international scope of the collection, from the market situation, competition situation scientific and technological innovation, technology services and the advantages of the three aspects of CPLC in the current oil market situation, and then clear the company’s presence in the market development process, such as well logging technology, exploration costs, competition in the market, the international market, system and so on. (2) Followed by the design CPLC’s market development:from the analysis of the competition situation, existing problems CPLC has the level of institutional mechanisms, the stage of development of the industry level, also have the development level, the internal management level. Analysis on the competitive situation of the design of two-dimensional market CPLC development strategy which is based on the vertical dimension of development, including planning, market service model based on log market segment based on long-term development of the market demand analysis and forecast of market; the horizontal dimension, including the characteristics of logging technique based on the international market and based on the new non-conventional energy market.
