The Research On The Synergetic Development Of The Logistics In Sandu’ao Port Area And The Economy In Ningde Hinterland

Port logistics is becoming an important field of modern logistics, it plays an important role in promoting trans-regional mobility of global elements, driving the economic development of the port cities and the surrounding regions and resulting in agglomeration economies. Since the development strategy of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits was proposed in 2004, Fujian Province has accelerated the step of development. For Ningde City, acting as a very important growth pole in the northeast of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits, it has become an important issue requiring urgent consideration currently about how to make good use of Sandu’ao Port’s unique geographical advantages and development potential to promote the synergetic development of the logistics in Sandu’ao port area and the economy in Ningde hinterland. So far, the research field on the synergetic development of port logistics and hinterland economy has been seldom involved in. Especially in the background of the development of the Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits, the issue of the synergetic development of the logistics in Sandu’ao port area and the economy in Ningde hinterland is well worth exploring. From the above, this paper takes the basic principles of synergetic theory as a guide and systematically analyzes the synergetic development of the logistics in Sandu’ao port area and Ningde hinterland economy.Firstly, based on the relevant theories of port logistics, regional economy, synergetics, industrial agglomeration, set pair analysis and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), etc., the paper analyzes the general development situation of the direct and indirect economy hinterland of Sandu’ao Port area,and its logistics demand.Secondly, in the guidance of the basic principles of synergetic theory, the paper explores the synergetic development of Sandu’ao Port logistics and Ningde hinterland economy from three aspects, which are the effect of the hinterland economy development on port logistics, the favorable influence of port logistics on the hinterland economy development and the synergetic development of port logistics and hinterland economy.Thirdly, this thesis tries to evaluate the synergetic development level of Sandu’ao port logistics and Ningde hinterland economy with set pair analysis and analytic hierarchy process, which are different from the research methods used by the scholars before. Finally, it proposes countermeasures to promote the synergetic development of Sandu’ao port logistics and Ningde hinterland economy.The paper draws the following conclusions:first, the development of hinterland economy can result in great logistics demand in Sandu’ao Port area; second, the synergetic development of Sandu’ao port logistics and Ningde hinterland economy can be explored systematically from three aspects, which are the effect of the hinterland economy development on port logistics, the favorable influence of port logistics on the hinterland economy development and the synergetic development of port logistics and hinterland economy; third, the results of set pair analysis show that the synergetic development of Sandu’ao port logistics and Ningde economy has been improved year by year in all aspects of the index and the bidirectional collaborative level is increasing steadily; fourth, it puts forward that Ningde City Government should take some active and effective measures to promote the synergetic development of Sandu’ao port logistics and the economy in Ningde hinterland.
