The Study Of Fund Centralized Management

Fund has been seen as the lifeline of enterprise production and development and always been highly valued. With the rapid development of technology, which has greatly enhanced the group fund management ability, electronic payments can be popularized. The iron and steel enterprises in our country form a variety of fund management mode. Such as SAN Steel Group formed his own a set of the centralized fund management measures after nearly 50 years of the construction. The SAN Steel Group must timely adjust fund management approach to improve the operation efficiency of fund, according to the Group’s strategic direction and the change in the market environment, which is because of the quickly development of the SAN Steel Group, international competition and so on.First of all, this article analyzes the necessity of implement centralized management of funds and describes some concepts of centralized management of funds, by using the survey method, case studies and others. Secondly, the funds management status of steel companies were analyzed and found some funding problems, such as disjointed capital flow and information flow, high capital costs, supervisory control are not in place and so on. And then this article introduces five common centralized management modes. The author compares the capital settlement center to financial companies from applicable conditions, operating procedures and other aspects. The author finds that the capital settlement center is relatively easy to set up. The financial companies need to spend more human material and financial resources than the capital settlement center. The business groups can firstly choose the capital settlement center if it don’t have the established conditions and experience, and then slowly transit to the finance company model. Finally, I analyze the present situation and problems of the existing fund management mode of the SAN Steel Group from the two aspects of the business operations and related supporting measures. The author finds that financial settlement of the Sansteel Groups plays a huge role in improving capital efficiency and solving the shortage of funds business, but there are still some problems. I described these problems from two aspects of capital settlement center business positioning and business operations, and then make some recommendations, which make a good reference for other group enterprises.
