A Research On The Fixed Assets Management Improvement Of Hua Xia Arts Centre

The fixed asset management is an important component of enterprise management, especially for culture & entertainment industry, the performance of management has a direct bearing on enterprises’ development and survival.Challenge and opportunity coexist for culture & entertainment industry from 2010, the yearly increase of fixed asset investment is above average of all social industry. Enterprises should tack this opportunity, strengthen the management of fixed assets, to improve the overall management level, enhance solid foundation for development, to support enterprise’s stability and sustainable development in the fierce competition market.Asset management of the Hua Xia Arts Centre was taken as objective in this essay, the current fixed asset management status of the Hua Xia Arts Centre was studied through documentary approach, on-site investigation and qualitative analysis, and then the related issues and the corresponding cause during the company fixed asset management was pointed out, such as:antiquated in management tool and method; the poor performance of equipment and facilities which affect company’s operating efficiency; the defection of internal control system, not fully compliance of asset management policy; fixed asset management limited to statistical only; lacking the common sense of management etc.To solve the above issues, improvement suggestions was given by author according to internal control theory, commission management theory and fixed asset whole life-cycle management theory, these suggestions include: Implementation of fixed asset information management, dynamic adjustment to maximize asset usage; the establishment of information-sharing platform for asset management, manage inventory of idle assets; improve internal control of fixed assets business processes to improve their effectiveness; performance evaluation of fixed asset management etc.The author hopes to help improve asset management of the Huaxia Art Center, as well as enhance the company’s competition and Sustainable development capacity by taking the suggestions, At the same time, the author hopes all this could be referenced by other similar enterprises.
