Empirical Research Between Network And Wage Status Of Migrant Workers In Infrastructure Industry

In the past five years, the construction industry of China has been rapid development, the total output value of construction industry increased from 7.6 in 2009 to 15.9 trillion trillion in 2013 the same year, the proportion of GDP rose from 24% to 28%. Due to the stability of practitioners in the construction industry is 40000000 or so, labor productivity of construction industry in 2013 reached 324842 yuan/person, from press reports and practice research we understand that the construction industry labor income condition is generally low, it has now become the hot issues in relevant government departments, all sectors of society and the masses of the people. To this end, I deeply conducted a questionnaire survey and depth interview in a state-owned construction, collected data of income condition and influence factors of wages in labor market, to investigate the effects of social networks on the income condition of labor workers.Firstly this paper is on the basis of the study on the income condition at home and abroad, combined with the present situation of China infrastructure projects, analyze the influence mechanism of labor workers and income condition, make theoretical analysis of the impact on the income condition of workers from social network, summarize and inductive effects of two dimensions of labor workers (social network and skills) on wages, and analyze each dimension; secondly use the software of SPSS 18.0 to research the effects of labor income condition factor on reliability and validity, followed by exploring factor analysis, then do the confirmatory factor analysis on income condition of labor workers with the software of LISREL, lastly construct of the structural equation model of factors of income condition, fit and modify the evaluation, according to the modified rule to judge the model, then put forward relevant suggestion.Through the study we find that the social network of labor wokers has a direct effect and indirect effect on the income condition, and the direct and indirect effects are significant. There is strong evidence that social network can directly improve the income condition, and the social network can also increase their income condition indirectly through knowledge and skills, besides the indirect effect is obvious; the labor workers who has more knowledge and skills can significantly improve the income condition. The size of direct effects and indirect effects between social network and income condition are 0.23 and 0.1247, the total effect is 0.3547, it shows that social network of labor workers plays an important role in enhancing their income.
