With the improvement of private enterprise system of separation of ownership and management,the growing number of private enterprises began to employ a large number of professional managers to manage the company. These managers exist in different parts of the organization, the different levels, the formation of the company’s core backbone, contribute to the development of enterprises.However, in recent years, the cases that the managers were crushed appear frequently,because they can not stand the pressure,so we have to reflect on where the stress come from, how to reduce stress for manage rs. Through the literature, we found that in numerous pressure source,the role of pressure is the main sources of stress for Chinese managers.The existing research both at home and abroad for the antecedents and consequences of the private enterprise managers’ role stress and it has carried on the beneficial consequences, however, on the relationship between the internal role stress and personality traits, as well as its relationship with job satisfaction remains to be further improved. This research discuss the relationship between role stress and job satisfaction according to different personality traits of private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province, and it benefits to the enterprise to adopt scientific management methods according to different pers onality traits managers, so as to guarantee the development of enterprises.The article main body is divided into four parts. First of all,the literature review expounds the concept of private enterprise managers’ role stress and clear that the research’s object is the manager of the private enterprises in Sichuan Province.Second, building the research models of the managers’ role stress,locus of control and job satisfaction.Again, checking the scale reliability and validity based on the basis of research model involving variable.Finally, by analying the relationship among variables between role stress and job satisfaction for private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province, verifying the locus of personality for role stress acting on the influence of t he regulation of the process of job satisfaction.The results show that:(1) There was a significant negative correlation between role stress and job satisfaction for private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province:that the role stress have a significant negative impact on job satisfaction;(2) There was a significant positive correlation between locus of control and job satisfaction for private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province:that the managers’ locus of control have a significant positive impact on job satisfaction.(3) Private enterprises in Sichuan Province, managers’ locus of control and role stress’ s interaction term on job satisfaction have a significant negative impact. That is, managers’ locus of control has a moderating role between role stress and job satisfaction of managers.Based on these results, this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Enterprises in Sichuan Private attach importance to and take measures to reduce the pressure on the role of managers,which is the important means to solve the problem of managers’ satisfaction;(2)Private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province should pay attention to the cognition of self role stress, learn to release pressure,communicate effectively.(3)Private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province should have positive energy, change the way of individual cognition,face the problems and pressure actively.
