With the rapid development of economy, the market competition is increasingly intensified, and the Enterprises is facing more complex and diverse competitors. At the same time, the rapid development of network technology has promoted traditional enterprises transform into electronic commerce business and accelerate the speed of information dissemination. Now the electronic commerce business has become the mainstream of business model. Jingdong mall as the outstanding enterprise in electronic commerce business has become the legend, and it has been listed in the US earlier than Alibaba Group. Besides, it attracts a large number of users which originally belong to Suning and Gome. All of this above have made it become one of the most powerful competitor of other e-commerce enterprises. In order to have advantages in the competition, Tmall, Suning, Yihaodian, Dangdang and other competitors need to pay attention to Jingdong mall’s business trend and other relevant information. Therefore these competitors may take some means of competitive intelligence to get Jingdong mall’s key information, which is dangerous for enterprise. In this case, it is important to carry out counter-competitive intelligence for avoiding competitor to get enterprise’s key information. So this paper tries to study on Jingdong mall’s counter-competitive intelligence, which can provide a mean of counter-competitive intelligence to defense competitors.Fistly, this paper is based on the theoretical research of other scholars to define the counter-competitive intelligence. In this paper, it has been defined that the counter-competitive intelligence as a defensive measure that can maintain enterprises competitiveness and actively respond to competitors’intelligence activities. Secondly this paper compares steps and characteristics of Phoenix model, Miller model and OPSEC model to select the best model to use. Then this paper implements counter-competitive intelligence from five steps which are identifying critical information of Jingdong mall, identifying Jingdong mall’s competitors with analyzing threats, analyzing vulnerabilities and assessing risks with making strategies. In this process, this paper uses collecting methods to get information and uses shadowing to simulate threat of competitors and uses fish-bone diagram to monitor vulnerabilities. Lastly, this paper uses Venn diagram and risk protection priority level diagram to assess the risk of Jingdong mall. Based on this, this paper make strategies from enterprise’s external and internal.In the field of counter-competitive intelligence, previous scholars had studied counter-competitive intelligence from the view of Macro-field, but without practical application. In this paper, we provide more operational means for Jingdong mall or e-commerce business. Besides, this paper makes strategies based on enterprise’s culture, daily management, laws and technologies. For example, in the field of enterprise’s culture, Jingdong mall can improve staffs consciousness about counter-competitive intelligence. In the field of daily management, Jingdong mall can formulate regime about secrecy and control the access permissions of important information. In the field of laws, Jingdong mall can use "Anti-unfair competition law" and "Intellectual property law" to protect the security of enterprise’s key information. In the field of technology, Jingdong mall can apply the technology of firewall, and the technology of examining or monitoring information to protect the security of enterprise’s system.
