Research On Religious Heritage Tourism Based On The Cultural Comparison In China And Western Countries

The title of this dissertation Research on religious heritage tourism based on the cultural comparison in China and western countries shows that this is a dissertation about the analysis and research on religious heritage tourism. It deals with the research in a special way which exists between Chinese culture and western culture. More precisely, it analyzes religious heritage tourism from the aspect of regional culture and the tourism about religious heritage sites. Meanwhile, it also explores the relationship between culture and religious tourism. The starting point of all is to study the religious heritage tourism influenced by the different cultures in China and some western countries. It tends to distinguish and analyze the different cultural connotations and cultural manifestations. There is no doubt that this dissertation concentrates on the cultural differences to analyze the demand in religious heritage tourism in the theoretical way, which plays a part in the development of religious heritage tourism in some way. It aims to introduce the general situation and the development of religious heritage tourism. In conclusion, this dissertation analyzes the development tendency and utilization based on the culture perspective of China and western countries, which promotes the future prospects of religious heritage tourism.There are six chapters in this paper. The first chapter introduces the background, the significances of the research and the research status and methods. The second one describes the concept of religious heritage tourism, the distribution, the culture factors of composition and the forms of cultural expression in religious heritage sites. The third chapter explains the concepts and basis theories of study based on the differences between cultures in China and western countries. It makes a theoretical and historicalstudy about religious heritage tourism, clarifying the cultural connotation, rituals, regional culture characteristics and the interrelationship between religious heritage and tourist motivation in western countries. The fourth chapter tends to analyze the interrelationship between culture and religion heritage tourism in China based on the background of Chinese culture. The fifth chapter makes a comparative study of the tourism developing model in religious heritage sites in China and some western countries, which aims to solve the problem in the development and utilization and predict the development trend of religious heritage tourism. The last chapter reviews and summarizes the studies of this paper. It also emphasizes the importance of cultural comparison and promotes the future prospects of religious heritage tourism.
