Study On The Knowledge Spiral Model Of Supply Chain Risk Early-warning Management

In the era of knowledge economy, supply chain risk is also becoming increasingly diversified and complicated. Therefore, supply chain risk early-warning management has gained more and more attention from the relevant enterprises. This paper focuses on the inadequate of dynamic sustainability and openness of traditional supply chain risk early-warning management, and dedicates to optimize the traditional supply chain risk early-warning management procedure.Firstly, through literature study, we summarized the related research results of supply chain risks’ early-warning management: supply chain risks’ identification research, supply chain risks’ assessment and control strategy research, supply chain risks’ early warning model research, and the application of knowledge management in the supply chain management, and found that the current supply chain risks’ early-warning is still the early-warning of logistics, capital flow and information flow, and thus it didn’t pay enough attention to the risks knowledge. Though knowledge management has been applied in supply chain management, but it still hasn’t been involved in the supply chain risk warning management research deeply.Secondly, this paper introduces the supply chain risk early-warning management theories: supply chain risks’ analysis, supply chain risks’ early-warning theory, knowledge spiral theory and related technical methods: in-depth interviews, semantic network technology and BP-ANN model. Starting from the above theories and technologies, we demonstrated the feasibility of applying knowledge spiral theory to the supply chain risk early-warning management procedure.Furthermore, by using the modeling method, starting from traditional supply chain risk early-warning management procedure, combined with supply chain risk early-warning management theory and knowledge spiral theory, we had studied the knowledge spiral model of supply chain risks early-warning management, the assumptions of this model, specific function modules(including risk externalization, risk combinations, risk internalization and risk-sharing), correlations and overall dynamic process between the modules were described. We also had launched a specific study of module building process. Detailed studies of the target functions of each module, implementation methods, processes and so do had been made. Then we proposed a new supply chain risks’ early warning management model and the single risk knowledge stream’s operation mechanism of the model.Finally, this paper carries out the empirical analysis by taking a wine enterprise’s supply chain risk early warning management; the validity of the model’s single screw has initially been demonstrated, too. The model of supply chain risks’ early warning management is based on the perspective of knowledge management, which makes up the traditional supply chain risk early-warning management procedure’s deficiency, and provides a reference to further application knowledge management theory into the supply chain risk early-warning management procedure for enterprise.
