With the advent of the era of post-economic crisis, strategic positioning and profit model are being reviewed by more and more enterprises to get the long-term development. Meanwhile their focus is gradually changed from the traditional factors of production into the investment and development of intellectual capital. Enterprises could possess the unique resource and advantage in the face of fierce competition by reasonable access and the effective integration of their own resources.As a new business mode, cultural and creative enterprise closely linked to the innovative thinking. Intellectual capital contributes a lot for their development. With the effective integration of intellectual capital and their own resources, cultural and creative enterprises could form the weapons difficult to imitate, break the bound of self-development, acquire the value-added point and transform the idea into profit.Based on data of cultural and creative enterprise between 2010 and 2012, this paper discusses the contribution level of intellectual capital on these companies. Firstly, this paper summarizes the research of intellectual capital, enterprise performance and the relationship between them. Secondly, it introduces the theory of intellectual capital and the interconnection of its factors. Combining the characteristics of cultural and creative enterprises, this paper expounds the mechanism of enterprise performance affected by intellectual capital. Thirdly it performs the practical analysis of enterprise performance contribution degree affected by intellectual capital. This paper selects 16 financial indicators to make factor analysis and gets the F value which could explain the level of enterprise performance. By using the method of value added intellectual coefficient, this paper gets some conclusion:human capital and structural capital are significantly positively correlated with the performance of the cultural and creative enterprises; physical capital has a positive correlation for cultural and creative enterprise performance, but not significantly. This paper also provides five practical propositions for cultural and creative enterprises which play a certain role in the future development.
