Research On The Evolution And Characteristics Of The Spatial Structure Of Service Industry Of Jiangsu Province

With the arrival of the era of service economy, service-oriented economic structure has become the main features of development of the economy and society. Since the 1990s, service industry gradually becomes an important force in China’s economic growth. Under the background of economic transformation and globalization, most regions in China are facing an opportunity to develop the service industry; the status of service industry in the national economy will be further enhanced. Jiangsu is one of the more developed provinces in southeast coastal areas, since the reform and opening up it has made remarkable achievements. The service industry development has made great achievement in recent years, and it has become an important pillar to promote its output value increased, and is a regional development new luminescent spot, at the same time, the spatial structure of the internal also appeared. Whether the spatial structure of the service industry is reasonable or not is important to the development of the regional industry space and adjustment of the regional function space. The study on the spatial structure features will help promote industrial space layout area more ordered and rational, thus promoting regional industrial structure optimization and adjustment of space. So in this paper, the spatial structure of the service industry in Jiangsu province were studied in order to explore the feature of it and what the evolution trend is.This paper first summarizes the related research of scholars at home and abroad, using the literature review method, combs the evolution of service industry model of spatial structure and spatial distribution of industry factors research method. In the theoretical part, this paper simply defines the relevant theory and concepts related to the spatial structure, and then introduces the distribution and evolution of industrial spatial structure evolution rule and the law of service industry, and analyzes several factors influencing the evolution of spatial structure of service industry. Then describes the current situation on the development of service industry in Jiangsu Province, in order to have a comprehensive system of the spatial structure characteristics of service industry, this paper uses the coefficient of variation, Gini coefficient and location quotient as tools to study the overall service industry and divisions, and finds that the service industry of Jiangsu province presents the spatial structure of the "cluster core-center agglomeration area-times center cluster areas-peripheral regions" multiple levels of "circle+ axial" space layout form. In evolution part, this paper selects the 13 cities in Jiangsu province as the research unit, uses the service sector employment population in 1999-2011 years as relevant data, and with the help of spatial econometric software GoeDa to make global autocorrelation and partial autocorrelation analysis, the result is that service industry of Jiangsu province follows the general rule of the industrial spatial structure evolution, namely by "dot" to "line", from "line" to "face" the evolution of the process. Finally, this paper reaches several conclusions and puts forward the corresponding policy recommendations according to the conclusions.
