Because the industry is facing a major adjustment, resources and capital real estate industry is the traditional industry, is facing a hitherto unknown change adjustment, real estate enterprise strategy transformation be imperative. Find resources and customers from the outside, from the internal management and efficiency, to become a real estate enterprise through "magic weapon for winning the silver age". How to implement fine management in the enterprise, especially through the comprehensive and effective performance appraisal, to promote business goals, help enterprises to better survival and development, will be crucial for a enterprise development general situation of the management measures.Established in 2002, CH Investment Corporation is a private-owned enterprise diversifying across real estate development, property management, hotel management and orchid planting industries. In 2012, CH launched its strategic transformation plan. It will combine rural development, tourism development and residence development, and focus on this specific business field. Such a plan urges the company to update its HR management system.CH tried’management by objective’during the past decade. However, its performance management is somewhat rigid and ineffective. HR department overemphasized KPIs while paying little attention to employees’role in the goal-setting and achieving process. Communication, mentoring or guidance services are seldom provided, which unavoidably made several kinds of conflicts in employment relationship. In such a context, it’s really imminent for CH to improve its performance management.This dissertation includes five parts. Chapter One introduces research purpose, methodology, contribution and managerial implication. Chapter Two is a literature review on performance management theories and practices. Chapter Three summarizes strengthens and weaknesses of CH’s existing performance management based on detailed survey and analysis. Chapter Four puts forward an improved performance management system. The article points out that the implementation of the performance appraisal system to optimize the salary, recruitment, training and corporate culture to promote the management module can be guaranteed.Then, in the final chapter, conclusion and practical implication are discussed.In short, this dissertation applies relevant theories to CH’s case and thereby provides the company a complete and sustainable performance management system.
