| In recent years, some domestic scholars on the development model of minority areas conducted in-depth research, and achieved fruitful results.Some foreign countries had successful experiences to support their development of backward areas. But the focus of the research priorities and practices, is mainly on the domestic strength, namely how to deploy their resources, accelerate the development of minority areas or undeveloped areas.This paper attempts to find out a new way from inherent ideas which is rely on the domestic development power of ethnic areas, combined with the westward and inland opening-up background and the actual situation of the local minority areas, from the co-ordination of international resources and international market perspective, and the perspective of speeding up the opening-up, through a comparative analysis of methods and the sample of the Enshi Ethnic Autonomous Prefecture which is located inland mountainous in western with developing situation, initial stage of industrialization, less opening-up, and seeks a new path to accelerate the development of minority areas.In comparison with analysis of different ways including ethnic minority inland areas, western coastal areas and ethnic frontier areas opening to the outside world, this thesis analyses the overall situation,basic conditions and obvious problems of the Enshi Autonomous Prefecture.What is more, it summarizes the basic elements of opening in inland regions,namely building opening strategy, forming opening channels, constructing opening carriers and cultivating opening industries, and combining with the actual opening state of Enshi, puts forward relevant suggestions and policies of speeding up the opening of inland regions such as joining of opening-up strategy of the whole country, establishing opening channels,fostering opening engines, and forming opening industries.The innovation of this paper lies on the method of comparative analysis, basing on expanding the opening-up, setting key points of opening-up, finding out new impetus for the sustainable development of the inland areas, and has certain guidance and reference meaning for speeding up the development of inland minority areas. |
