Study On The Environmental Strategy Of Jinan Thermal Power Co., LTD Under The Background Of Low-carbon Development

With the development of China’s industrialization process and the significant emissions of greenhouse gases causing global warming, The necessities of human survival-- air, are in urgent need of purification. Industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, solid waste are the main factors contributing to worsening air quality. As a heating enterprise, it is closely related to our people’s daily life, while it provides the basic living guarantee with the coal-fired energy conversion method which is high polluting. Therefore, being a mature enterprise, the only way for the harmonious development with the society and natural environment is the promotion of social energy conservation and emission reduction and taking the social responsibility of low-carbon development.Since the implementation of urban environment and air quality ranking system of 2013, the situation of Jinan has been unsatisfactory. Results the comprehensive ranking of the municipalities directly under the central government and cities specifically designated in the state plan, the capital city of the city a total of 74 City, "In nineteen times monthly ranking from January 2013 to July 2014, Jinan were found seventeen times in the bottom 10 except March and December 2013(bottom 13th). Among them, two times bottom 8th and one time bottom 9th, four times bottom 7th, three times bottom 6th, four times bottom 5th, three times bottom 4th." Therefore, the improvement of Jinan’s air quality has become essential.At present, most heating enterprises haven’t established environmental strategy based on their actual situation. If Jinan Thermal Power Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Jinan Thermal Power), as the largest heating enterprise in Shandong Province, can carry out a fruitful exploration in this aspect, it will not only be a great facilitation to its own development, but also make contribution to the improvement of Jinan’s air quality.After summarizing, in the current context of low-carbon development, our predecessors have done a lot of research of enterprise’s environmental strategy from the theoretical and practical experiences. Enterprises are facing three levels of low-carbon environment which include macro environment of low-carbon development, industry environment of low-carbon competition and micro environment of low-carbon management. Currently, government promotion is still dominating the development of China’s low-carbon economy while large enterprises are at the phase of exploratory operation. The path of low-carbon development is gradually transiting from the macro-control to the combination of macro and micro In the future, enterprises will gradually play a main role in the development of low-carbon economy, and reestablish its management according to the requirements of low-carbon development. Future research should tend to the micro level of enterprises in order to make it have more practicability and guiding significance. Only this will make it easier for non-professionals to accept the research and for enterprises to use the contents of the research directly.This paper, based on the theoretical study of the enterprise’s environmental strategy under the background of low-carbon, provides targeted research and analysis of Jinan Thermal Power, the largest heating company of Shandong Province, as the starting point of this paper itself. The use of PEST analysis method, Porter’s five forces analysis method and SWOT analysis method, of Jinan Power from the external macro environment to the internal micro environment step by step analysis, summed up the core factors of Jinan thermoelectric internal and external. And then, according to the analysis results, the matching analysis of strategic combination is carried out, and the environmental strategy and strategic target of Jinan thermoelectric power is located. Finally, according to the results of the analysis, the relevant implementation suggestions of Jinan thermoelectric environmental strategy in the context of low-carbon economy development are presented.The innovation of this article is taking Jinan Thermal Power, the largest heating enterprise of Shandong Province, as an example, then explores the establishment of the appropriate environment strategy for the future development of Jinan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. in the context of low-carbon development. As a case study of micro-level corporate environmental strategy, providing the actual utility of help and reference for the future development of the enterprise.
