International Gereral-contracting work is a promising type, which combines exporting of commodity, capital, skill, labor, service and management.In China, the strategy of "Going Abroad" refers to mainly overseas project-contracting.MCC8, an excellent General-contractor in the field of metallurgic and construction industry, engaging itself into the trend of globalization, has implemented "Going Abroard" strategy, and developed overseas market.At the beginning of "Going abroard", we faced many difficulties in overseas projects management, due to lacking of experience and efficient management. As consequence, very serious studying on developing and management of overseas projects are in need, and then establishing scientific, efficient management shall contribute a lot for MCC8.With the internationalization of project management, the process has become more complicated. My paper has expressed framework, management system and specific methods aiming at current situation, by analysis of international project management, then to boost the MCC8’s core-competitiveness. By methods of concluding existing theories, case studying, data analysis, comparative analysis, etc, firstly, I specify clearly the basic concepts, intension and obvious features of international project management. Secondly, I list 7 urgent problems when MCC8 exploring overseas market, they are:low level of company internationalization and reputation; exanimate management system hindering development; inefficient organizational system; inefficient risk-control system; lacking of versatile talent; lacking of necessary regime and process control; blocked financial interaction.Among all the above 7 problems, organizational and management system dominate. Besides, my paper also establishes basic model and management system for MCC8’s future overseas EPC projects development, which features 8 strategies, including intensive perceive; engineering management; procurement management; skill innovation management; personnel training management; risk-control management; financing channels; sudden event management.The highlight of this paper exists at the analysis of current situation and future of MCC8, based on practice and investigation from existing overseas project management.
