With the development of social economy, the competition in the traditional sense between enterprises has come into the horizontal integration between supply chains. Any enterprise who wants to be in the invincible position in the competition must keep good relationship with enterprises from upstream and downstream in supply chain. As a enterprise from upstream in supply chain, supplier plays an important role in the product quality, cost, delivery time, customer satisfaction provided by enterprises. As supermarket chains have had an important place in the retail industry as a result of its large-scale development, diversification and specialization of management. As supermarket chain is directly to the terminal consumer, it is particularly important to integrate the resources of upstream suppliers in supply chain of manage effectively suppliers, form a long-term and stable strategic alliance and provide consumers with satisfactory service. But supplier relationship management in supermarket chains is still confined to the traditional business relationships and its suppliers and information is not shared between both sides. The majority of supermarket chains take same measures to all suppliers, which brings great negative impact on the development of supermarket chains, thus changing the supermarket chains’traditional supplier relationship management is very necessary.This paper mainly focus on the supplier management of R supermarket chains based on strategy purchase and improvement of original schemes. Firstly, the current state of supplier management at home and abroad, supermarket chains purchasing, strategic procurement are introduced; secondly, the differences between strategic procurement and traditional procurement and the content of supplier management under strategic procurement circumstance are emphasized combined with theories mentioned above; then R supermarket chains original state and existing issues of supplier management are analyzed and reasons behind these issues are pointed out, for example, using single indicator to select and evaluate, lack of classification management and insufficient relationship maintenance. Finally, the improved scheme of suppliers relationship based on strategic sourcing is put forward based on these issues. In supplier evaluation section, this paper takes special indicators and uses DEA and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on strategic purchasing environment. In terms of supplier classification management, it combines krajlic matrix and supply preference model classifying R supermarket chain suppliers. In terms of supplier relationship maintenance, it starts write win-win concept from suppliers, incentive mechanism and complete risk management and emergency response mechanism. Finally, this paper also elaborates the achievements on R supermarket chain after the supplier relationship management is implemented, which mainly from the cost reduction, stable prices, timely delivery rate and technical capability analysis.
