The Study Of Supplier Development Based On Strategic Sourcing

In recent years, more and more enterprises realize it is an important method inpurchasing total cost reduction to strengthen purchasing and supplier's management.The purchasing be turned into the strategic management scope as same as theoperations and finance by enterprises. Many researchers have worked in the fieldtrying to find a suited supplier management model for enterprises.This article analyzes the purchasing question existence in our country enterpriseat present, and the significance for the implementation of strategic purchasing, it alsoelaborates the general process and the method of supply strategy. It then analyzes themethod of supply strategy selection and relationship building with suppliers and so on.The paper propose that different strategy, method, the flow and the policy-making ruleshould be adopted in view of the different type supplier. In this foundation itemphasizes on the principle, the process of partnership building with the essentialsuppliers, it introduced integrative concept and the method with key suppliers, then itproposed that the integration with suppliers should be carried on three levels ofstrategy, function and operations. In the case research, this article analyzes thequestion which exists in T Corporation, and propose an strategic purchasingimplementation plan, established process model of suppliers development, it pointthat the process include establishment purchase category, the design of purchasingstrategy, establishing the supplier name list, the implementation way selection, thesupplier selection, and unceasingly comparison with market datum. Finally, it draw aconclusion that the implementation of the strategic sourcing is helpful to reducesourcing costs, and can dramatically shorten lead time of the sourcing.
