| With the rapid economical development, China’s automobile industry has also been growing up rapidly. In order to meet the requirement of "lean manufacturing" to ensure material supply timely and effectively, more and more logistics models have been applied, optimized and upgraded. Traditional JIT logistics model common used by traditional suppliers which could hardly meet the delivery demand of high-frequency and small-lot but also the rapidly changing demand of the marketing. However, the milk-run with the characteristics of "small-lot, multi-frequency" fundamentally solves the JIT distribution contradiction between economy and efficiency and can effectively reduce inventory levels throughout the supply chain. Therefore, an increasing number of automakers had adopted this logistics model. Currently, there are many theory studies mostly focused on the path optimization and regional milk-run. But how to integrate all suppliers into the Milk-run Model and run it smoothly which becomes another topic need to be faced by automakers.From the perspective of the supply chain, this article builds milk-run pattern based on information technology, using qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis. The author makes system analysis and research on practical application Milk-run based on empirical experience through participation in FB company milk-run cases.First of all, the article analyzes the background and significance of Milk-run and analysis the research status of milk-run in china and abroad from path planning and application. etc. Then, combined with theoretical analysis, the article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different distribution mode. Secondly, based on the analysis of several domestic automakers milk-run cases, the article discusses the deficiencies in the implementation process of milk-run and builds a "Trine" model of the milk-run, putting forward the third-party logistics evaluation standards and the construction of business and information system. Finally, takes FB company as an example on the empirical analysis, the author puts forward a set of suitable solution for FB company based on the current situation after more than one year operation. |
