The Research On Economically Developed Areas Of Industrial Transformation

In the process of China’s urbanization accelerated rapidly, benefiting from its "special policies and flexible measures", a part of towns of the Yangtze and Zhu Jiang Delta has made a faster development and become regional developed towns. However, resources elements such as land and labor appear to be constantly in tension, which brings many limitations to the development of the developed towns. Investment of industrial projects with more resource consumption is now in a tough situation while modern service projects with less resource consumption are becoming the focus of investment invitation. In order to keep the developed towns in health and sustainable development, it is urgent and necessary to promote the transition and upgrading of the industry. Tourism has a high correlation in the industry. Its development is environmental and leads all aspects of the national economy and can also maximize the protection of the resources and its advantages in the region. Therefore, it is a good choice for the developed towns to develop tourism to promote the transition and upgrading of the industry.Shi Town is located in the A zone of the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta Area, which is rich in natural resources with an advantageous location, developed industry, rapid development and the overall economic level is above the average of the A zone. Like other towns in developed areas, Shi Town also encounters developmental bottlenecks due to the short supply of land, labor and other resources and is required to seek industrial restructuring. In the process of industrial transformation, Shi Town is facing the problems of the selection and cultivation of the new industries, and the key issue is how to translate the cumulative advantages during the long-term development into high quality resources that can be utilized by the development of the tourism industry. As a developed town with rich natural resources and convenient transportation, full equipped infrastructure construction and good ecological environment, Shi Town has an unique advantage of developing tourism to take tourism as an important path for the industrial transformation to realize the continuous and healthy development of the economy and society.This article is intended to provide suggestions for the towns in developed areas to take tourism as a choice for the industrial transformation, practically and theoretically based on selecting Shi Town as the object of this survey from the perspective of urban entity, by analyzing the current national economy and developmental bottlenecks of Shi Town, systematically studying the necessity, the general ideas, the path and the solutions of developing tourism. Firstly, this article introduces its background, significance, methods, structure and main content and elaborates relative concepts and theories, to indicate that it is a good choice to take tourism industry for industry transformation. Secondly, this article, based on a great deal of data, puts forward that Shi Town should take tourism as the successive industry for industrial transformation by analyzing its necessity. Finally, through the above analysis and applying relevant basic theories, the article teases out the favorable conditions and constraints of Shi Town for the development of tourism, to make suggestions for the general ideas, the paths and strategies of developing Shi Town’s tourism industry.
