The Freight Product Optimization Design Of Shanghai Railway Administration Under The New Situation

Freight revenue is the main income of railway operations. Whether freight can adapt to the market and dominate it better affects the overall situation of the railway’s survival and development. Shanghai Railway Administration shall promptly seize the opportunity of railway freight reform, under the railway system of real goods platform, and make transport efficiency the main purpose, to optimize organizational processes, and expand the scope of the market, closely follow the pace of railway freight reform development, to design more and more new freight products which can better adapt to the market needswhile maintaining the good competitiveness of the original freight products, adding impetus to the prosperity and development of the railway freight transport.At first, this paper gave some background research and introduced the currently overview of domestic and international freight products. Then, it analyzed the new environment in which the freight development of Shanghai Railway Administration, and analyzed the impact of the railway freight reform to the freight development, and then analyzed the major changes in the future development of Shanghai Railway Administration, and analyzed the overall freight and freight products’situation of Shanghai Railway Administration as well as its existing shortcomings and threats, through which, obtain the necessity to optimize the design of freight products. Then this paper made target location for the freight product optimal design under certain design principles of optimal design, outstanding the impact of transportation benefits to transport stations’ decisions, and to the freight products’optimization. At last, this paper made a freight products’optimization model refer to some optimization strategies and get optimal results.This paper have this design to make railway freight product more flexible to respond to market demand, and gain greater transport efficiency, by optimizing the amount and organizational model of product freight, and adjust its overall structure. In the future plan, Shanghai Railway Bureau should set priorities to the main product, and make product organization plan targeted, and take concrete measures to raise freight volume, thus achieving the overall upgrading of transport efficiency.
