Research On The Ningyang County Economic Development And Problem Countermeasures

County economy refers to the open, comprehensive and geographically differentiated regional economy of a specific county-level administrative district, with agriculture and rural economy as its main constituents. The county economy as a whole is regulated by the county government and local resources are allocated thorough market mechanism. Our national economy depends on, to a large degree, the county economy. With the enlargement of our opening-up process, county economy has been experiencing a rapid development,while it is faced with major opportunities and challenges. Economically, the development of county economy is indissolubly linked with local economic environment. Therefore, in order to speed up county economy development, it is vital for us to create comprehensively favorable environment for county economy.Located in the Midwest of Shandong Province, Ning Yang county is a typical agricultural economy region with poor economic environment and stagnant economy.Based on a mass of data, this dissertation runs an instance analysis over the economic development environment of Ning Yang in the light of relative regional economy theory and analyses the natural, economic,social and government conditions of this region through comparative analysis. According to the analysis, the economic development of Ning Yang has some problems such as a weak economy, low per capita contribution to economy, unreasonable industrial structure, slow development of export-oriented economy and underdeveloped mechanism and policy environment. After a comprehensive analysis of the reasons underlying these problems, this dissertation raises countermeasures and suggestions including enhancing our awareness of market system, improving industrial restructure, boosting financial, private and circular economic sectors, expanding regional economy’s influence, stepping up infrastructure construction,developing commercial logistics, building talent highland, upgrading government service and optimizing soft environment. This research is of positive influence on the economic development of Ning Yang and sheds light on the development of county economy in similar agricultural regions.
