With the rapid development of the international economy and trade, containertransportation shows a strong development potential and huge space for development. Acomprehensive container transportation system must be established to promote the rapiddevelopment of container transportation in order to achieve the one-stop service. The inlandcontainer collection and distribution process involves a lot of nodes and many links fortransiting. From a system perspective, the inland container transportation system is a verycomplex system. Only through a lot of organization and coordination, to establish the fastcontainer collection and distribution process will speed up the transfer rate of the container, improve the transport efficiency, and improve the use of resources. It will achieve thecomprehensive benefits of collection and distribution in the future. To achieve these goals, this paper studies the distributed network of collecting anddistributing container and container intermodal transport, and works out a integratedlogistics coordination mechanism between multiple corporations, finally builds a containerintermodal transport model including multi-tasks, multi-time windows and a method tosolve the problem in order to improve container transport efficiency and reduce overallcosts. Specific research contents are as follows:First, the paper analyses the import and export containers in the inland transportationprocess and knows the relationship between organizations, then abstracts the set of thedistributed network of collecting and distributing container, works out an integratedlogistics coordination mechanism between multiple corporations. Through theestablishment of contractual relations, logistics service providers integrate the ability of theentire resources to provide a rational planning and a reasonable solution throughout thetransportation process to improve customers’ satisfaction, while achieving the overallbenefit maximization.Second, the paper analyses the factors affecting the container intermodal modeselection and path optimization problems. Then the paper builds a container intermodaltransport model including multi-tasks, multi-time windows. A method Genetic Algorithm isused to solve the problem. Finally, an example is used to show effectiveness of model andalgorithm. The proposed collaborative mechanisms and the model to decide the containerintermodal mode and path are necessary and effective to speed up the inland containertransport speed and improve the overall efficiency of inland collection and distribution...
