Research On FDI Utilizing Strategy Of Tianjin Government

Years of practical experience of socialist countries proved that with stable economicgrowth, effective and rational utilization of Foreign investment can play important roles infollowing areas: Supplement domestic construction funds deficiency; accelerate nationaleconomy development; introduce foreign advanced technology, technical equipment,management experience and knowledge; help with domestic technician training; improvemanagement and manufacture technology; promote fundamental industry such asconstruction raw materials industry, transportation and energy industry; develop economicallyunderdeveloped areas; assist weak fields of national economy; improve industry Structure;encourage Emerging Industries; Promote export trade growth; improve import and exporttrading structure; increase employment and national income. This paper summarizes theintroduction and utilization of foreign investment in recent years of Tianjin govenment.Comparsions with Shanghai, Shandong and Chongqing and other cities are demonstratedfrom the aspects of economic development and government support policy in order to explorethe deficiencies in foreign investment utilization strategy of Tianjin and accordingly attemptto propose solutions and suggestions.
