In order to reduce human disturbances and unnecessary duplication of workenterprises implement human resources (HR) information systems. By theconstruction of the HR information systems, HR managers will be able to extricatethemselves from the complex transactional work, and pay more attention to theintegration of internal and external human resources, so that they couldachieve successful transformation of human resource management role. On the otherhand, HR information systems have the function to provide human resourcemanagement data fast, accurately and comprehensively, so that they can provide muchimportant and valuable information for making business management decisions. SAPHR is a powerful human resource management tools. Whether the enterprisescould implement SAP HR information system successfully depends on themethodology of the project implementation.This thesis focused on the study of the overall implementation process of SAPHR information technology for an enterprise in domestic apparel industry. By usingthe best of SAP ASAP implementation methodology, it elaborated the implementmethodology in the project implementation process, business transformation, anddeliverables of each project stage. Meanwhile, it introduced changes of businessprocesses and risk management in project implementation phases. Implementation ofSAP HR project is a very complex system engineering, which will go through manycompulsory management revolution and changes, also need to manage a lot ofmanpower during the implementation and go live stages. According to the actualsituation of the object enterprise, combined with the implementation of SAP ASAPmethodology, this thesis introduced the points which need to be focused on during theimplementation of HR information system. In the blue print stage, this thesisdescribed the status of the company’s management, the standard SAP HR system logic,and how to combine management idea of the SAP system with the character ofChinese apparel industry, to get a good application through best solution designing.This thesis also studied the Organizational Management, personnel management,Time Management, Payroll Management according to information construction stepof this enterprise. By studying the various stages of project implementation, the thesisgot an conclusion that SAP HR system that could not only satisfy the requirement of human resources management of domestic apparel enterprises, but also could bringimprovement to the HR management.
