Due to the overcapacity of production in domestic commercial automobile industry, theseverity of products homogeneity and the fierce price competition, theproduction-oriented corporations suffer an obvious declining profit-gaining ability.However, the after-sales service section based on the products promises a largedevelopment potential, which can integrate resources based on the products and providethe customers with comprehensive solutions, thus realizing a distinct development.First of all, this article analyzes the background and significance of the strategic modeltransfer and the status quo of current studies both home and abroad, which summarize sa basic path for the corporative strategic model transfer. Secondly, this paper, takingShaanqi Group as an example, studies its main issues and deep-rooted causes againstthe background of industrial overcapacity of production and products homogeneity, andcoming forth the advantages and shortcomings in management. Thirdly, taking fullconsideration of the trend in national industrial model transfer and upgrading, the papercomes up with a general idea and some detailed methods for Shaanqi Group’s strategicmodel transfer to the service-oriented manufacturer. Next, premised by the successfulimplementation of the service-oriented manufacture model transfer, the paper designssome specific measures on Shaanqi’s customers’ demand management, R&D strategiesand processes, marketing system, production and procurement system. In the end, thepaper also raises some safeguards on internal structures, operation methods, humanresources and investment system.
