To take "the CBN corporate Social Responsibility Ranking inChina"on as the object of the research, and do independently in-depthqualitative researches in the field work, and make a deep analysis andresearch of Chinese enterprises practice in taking accountability, theauthor summarizes and refines how the media can promote CSR.First chapter is the introduction of the research background, researchcontents, research significance and research method. It states the basicinformation about the thesis. To speak of the Corporate SocialResponsibility Ranking in China, which is sponsored by mainstreammedia, is the base of the thesis. So the sample chosen by the thesis isrepresentative and unique. The second chapter states the corporate social responsibility and itsdevelopment in China through collecting and sorting a large number ofliterature data. This chapter re-defines the formation process of principleof the corporate social responsibility in history; choose the stakeholdertheory from the two famous debates finally. Meanwhile, this chapterfocuses the study in China, instead of World, in the reality, instead ofhistory.The third chapter mainly analyzes the details when selection,including history of the selection, indexes and activities associated.Through the responsibility dimension, explain five primary indexes.Thischapter demonstrates the current lack of responsibility and direction toimprove the situation.The fourth chapter is the best practices and influences. It includesthe cases of the work performance on social welfare, concern foremployee and harmonious relationship.The fifth chapter is the thesis conclusion, which is also the focus ofthe thesis. The author provides seven countermeasures and suggestions tomedia selection.Nowadays, enterprises are turning from taking social responsibilityseparately and passively into actively and systematically. Enterprises nolonger simply control crisis or take apart in the public relations activities,but pay attention to the significance and value from taking social responsibility.With the change of such consciousness and practice, this thesis alsodemonstrate CSR selecting by media can be a platform to make moreChina enterprise cases founded, provide the suggestion and influence theCSR fulfillment.
