Since the21st century, the Internet has become an essential part of people’s daily life,the number of online shopping remains rapid growth, in this context, B2C e-commerce isexperiencing a fast-developing stage, multi-echelon inventory control of e-commerceenterprises become one of the critical problems to improve enterprise efficiency and thelevel of customer service. For the enterprises who own self-built logistics system,continuous construction and improvement of the radiation nationwide inventory supplysystem is an important issue to meet the market demand and maintain the competitivenessof enterprises. Due to the uncompetitive division of interest relationship between higherand lower inventory, the demand and inventory information sharing can be realized in alarger extent, the distribution centers of all levels can make joint inventory control strategy,therefore, multi-echelon inventory control problem of e-commerce enterprises havedifferent characteristics in structure and operation process compared with generalmulti-echelon supply chain inventory control issue.Based on the background of rapid development of e-commerce market, this paperfocuses on multi-echelon inventory control problem of e-commerce enterprise. Byinvestigating and studying the market and relevant data, this text analyses e-commerceenterprises’ current basic structure of multi-echelon inventory and management status. Onthe basic of optimal control theory and multi-echelon inventory control theory, combineswith the basic inventory structure of e-commerce enterprise, establish a lumped parametermodel of multi-echelon inventory system. The algorithm is realized in MATLAB model,furthermore, in order to study the implementation of the model, lumped parameterinventory control system software is designed. At last, the paper selects a market case as anexample and draws the use of simulation model, and then analyzes the effect of modelparameters. This paper completes the lumped parameter model of multi-echelon inventorycontrol, hope to provide some new ideas and suggestions to relevant multi-echeloninventory control research.
