Research On Data Quality Management Of H Bank

As the key asset of an enterprise, the data is an important base for businessdecision. With the deep development of the diversified operation of domestic citycommercial banks, these banks increasingly depend on analysis result ofeffective data in product innovation, marketing and consumer analysis. Havingan overall understanding for a bank’s own operating condition is the prerequisiteand basis to operate effectively and safely. Effective management for data qualityprovides necessary service measures and strong technical support for a bank tomaster its asset quantity and distribution and money supply dispatch precisely,correctly and comprehensively.This dissertation referred to a large amount of literature and made asystematical and deep research for H bank’s management for asset quality boththeoretically and practically. Based on the introduction of relevant theory aboutdata quality management, this title gave an explicit analysis for the presentsituation of H bank’s data quality management and found its defect in dataquality management. In order to improve the banks’ data quality management andmake higher and effective use of the data, the title refines some feasible,practical and widely used specific measures, such as the constructing method fordata standard and metadata management, especially used in China’s domesticbank industry.The research findings of this dissertation also have a conducting effect forbanks’ data quality management. Meanwhile other relevant idea and researchmethods could provide reference for other banks.
