Study The Reliability About Data Quality Of Farming,Forestry,Animal Husbandry And Fishery By Using Benford Law

The quality of rural economic statistics does not cause too much attention. In the literature, Benford law is applied mainly in the audit, economic statistics. Especially in the domestic literature, Benford law is reflected in the reliability study of the quality of macroeconomic data.According to data quality assessment theory 、methods、standards to analyze the data quality evaluation system and compare to international statistical data quality standards. If the Benford law is applied to the panel data and do data quality and reliability studies, on the one hand, if the total amount of data for a single variable panel is relatively small, you can consider combining them to study data quality and reliability of the entirety; on the other hand,if the panel data is large enough, we can use Benford law to anlyze each variable, and we can draw conclusions about the reliability of the data that represent the variable quality.This article focus on the study of reliability about data of farming, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery from 1996-2013 of 31 areas. The result shows that the reliability of first digit is doubtful. There are 3 dimensions about the data:areas,year and statistical indicators.To find out the abnormal data,delete data from one dimension one by one and calculate the statistics by using the left data. At last,based on the doubtful areas,years and statistical indicators, this paper give advice on supervision of statistics.
