Research On The Strategy For Modern Fisheries Of Yangjiabo Town Of Tianjin City

Yangjiabai Town, which has a good base for the fishery development, is locatedon the coast of the Bohai Bay and belongs to Tianjin Binhai New Area. Based onMichael Porter’s "diamond model" strategic planning theory, the combination of theimprovement needs of the regional competitiveness and the cluster developmentrequirements of the modern fisher industry, this article had discussed the suitablestrategic solutions for the cluster development of the modern fisher industry ofYangjiabai Town.In the article, the author had reviewed the related concepts and theories as theplanning of the regional economic development concept, the industrial cluster theoryand fishery industry chain concept, etc. And by using the diamond model theory andby fully analyzed the current situation, the advantages, the insufficient and its currentsituation of Yangjiabai’s modern fishery industry, this article had pointed out thestrategic goal of its development and had also put forward some countermeasures.In conclusion, the author suggests that the construction of Yangjiabai’s ModernFishery Industrial Cluster would be a trend for the development of fishery economyand would probably be a shortcut for the quick economic development of the districtswhich owns rich aquaculture resources. The author believes that this new operatingorganization form of the fishery industry would show a strong competitive advantageand would provide a new develop model for the development of the modern fisheryindustry of Tianjin Binhai New Area.
