In the background of economic globalization, socialist market economy system isimproving and competition between enterprises is getting intense, logistics isbecoming more and more important in the value chain for enterprises in China.Logistics, as the bridge of economy, is considered as an important method of energyconsumption reduction and efficiency enhancement. It plays an important role in thedevelopment of the regional economy. Logistics is a booming industry in China, itgrows rapidly and has broader prospects. In practical operation procedure of logistics,the flow of commercial and the flow of information and the flow of funds are inparallel with it, besides, operation of logistics is cross-industrial andcross-departmental and cross-regional, which makes great demand of knowledgeworkers and Compound Talents. Lack of talents for logistics management is becomingthe bottle neck to curb logistics development. Therefore, How to motivate knowledgeworkers and how to make them develop in logistic company and perform to theircapabilities is an issue worth reaching.Knowledge workers are different form common emplyees. Generally speaking,knowledge workers has high level of personal integrity, independent and self-reliant,unmeasurable of work process and result, disdainful of authorities, concern ofself-fulfillment and so on. And the requirement of knowledge workers is not as simpleas material satisfaction. Knowledge workers are more concern of humane care andpersonal growth. So, to make sure of motivating knowledge workers effictively isbased on incentive plan which has full analysis of knowledge workers’ requirement.This thesis adopts document investment method and case investment method,Inthe content, it sumed up motivation theories of knowledge workers home and abroad,found out the shortages of current motivation scheme. On the ground of analysis ofknowledge workers’ requirement, It came up with a brand-new motivation plan,which including reasonable performance system and salary system, good career management,creating a strong company culture and a favorable atmosphere.In the end, this thesis showed motivation result and problems existed in thecourse of implementation in A logistic company. This company is1st ranked freightforwarder in Italy. And it grows fast and has flexible management. Qingdao branchhas already became a well-performanced branch of a certain scale. However, It’s beenfound that the important asset of the company─knowledge workers are not satisfiedwith current work condition, lack of enthusiasm, trying to job-hop. Therefore, Findinga effective incentive plans to satisfy employees does not permit of any delay. Afterimplementation of motivation plan, knowledge workers in A logistic company areinitiative and have strong sense of owership, A marked advance has been made inperformance of knowledge workers, which reflects that knowledge works are moreefficient.
